He Waits For you Too

It's exactly 1 year ago today, James and I were to celebrate our third Love's day together.. sweet right?

James is one of the sweetest guys on Earth, God bless him wherever he is Sha

Like how can one man be so perfect, you know how you don't even have to talk too much, no stress, we were making evident progress daily

Everything was beautiful

I didn't have any time to think twice, I was sure James was the sure one for me, and we were both sacrificing our time, energy, emotions and what have you...

A relationship couldn't be more perfect James was becoming the centre of my thoughts, before I did anything, I had to do James.

Why did I just share that? To pepper my enemies?? Not at all

So back to a year ago, I called my James and he pleaded to call back as he was busy

He knew I don't like his attention divided when we talked 😉

So I waited, 10min, 20, 45min and hour, 2 then 3

I became worried.

I called, James forgot about calling back and he slept off

Was I angry? I was infuriated

How? Me? Forget? Why??  I wasn't even thinking straight, anger had clouded my sense of reasoning properly

How could he forget we were to make plans for Love's day today

You know it's harder when the one who always calms your anger is the source of the anger this time around

I hung up the the call on James and I just lay in bed.

In the stillness of my environment, I heard this:

"Why are you so hurt by one mistake if forgetfulness, I call you everyday, you keep telling me the next hour, but it never happens, and sometimes when you show up you are in so much hurry to leave, I barely say anything.

I wait daily when you eventually fix an appointment, appointments you don't even keep, , but I am there everyday, every other day"

Do you see how this is not about James but about me and my heavenly father, about you and your heavenly father

It is very easy to find live in a person and feel like they're your everything, forgetting God?

Once upon a time, you prayed every 12am, but now when they look for you at 12, you are on call with "James"

And the thing is God is always keeping these appointments

So you can see how something could feel so right and yet be wrong

How do you plan to get it right in your love relationship when you've given  the author of love zero place in it

God is love, He made me,l and He made James too,

We couldn't do it without Him

You cannot do this without Him

And if you live that partner so much, don't let them take God's place.., that's danger!!
