He Waits For you Too

It's exactly 1 year ago today, James and I were to celebrate our third Love's day together.. sweet right? James is one of the sweetest guys on Earth, God bless him wherever he is Sha Like how can one man be so perfect, you know how you don't even have to talk too much, no stress, we were making evident progress daily Everything was beautiful I didn't have any time to think twice, I was sure James was the sure one for me, and we were both sacrificing our time, energy, emotions and what have you... A relationship couldn't be more perfect James was becoming the centre of my thoughts, before I did anything, I had to do James. Why did I just share that? To pepper my enemies?? Not at all So back to a year ago, I called my James and he pleaded to call back as he was busy He knew I don't like his attention divided when we talked πŸ˜‰ So I waited, 10min, 20, 45min and hour, 2 then 3 I became worried. I called, James forgot about calling back and he slept off Was I angry? I...

Happy New Year

So at the end of each year for the past few years, whenever I take out my to do list for that year, I most times end up in a quick depression after going through it. You know why? Cause more than half of my work is left undone Then comes the part I try to convince myself that I tried. "But I worked hard nau"😩 Then fear creeps in, with a touch of pain and hatred,...hatred towards nobody in particular. From a younger age, I learnt to put down goals along with a time frame. Like, "at 20, I should be done with this and start doing that" or "at 25, i should be here and planning to go there" Now imagine feeling like I'm stuck in the plans meant for my "teen me" I dont know if I have others who feel this way? But are we planning to give up now? Never!  We trust God Another year just started, we have set new goals and we roll over previous ones and we work harder My pastor D.O Michael once told me:  " You set these goals, now you see it's n...

Jemima Dan'auta on the Goodness of God

Ojonugwa: I'm still in awe at the dimension of God which a young successful attorney had experienced in the 1870s where he could still proclaim God's goodness and find comfort in Him after the tragedy that befell him.     Horatio spafford was a successful attorney and estate investor who lost a fortune on the great Chicago fire of 1871, around same time, he also lost his four year old son to scarlet fever. Thinking a vacation will do the family some good, he sends his wife and four daughters on a ship to England, planning to join in later, but here's what happens, the ship sunk after a terrible collision while trying to cross the Atlantic ocean, with over 200 lives lost including all four daughters of the spafford's.   His wife, being the family only survivor, sends him a telegram which reads, "saved alone, what shall o do" Horatio sets sail immediately for England, being informed by the captain on reaching the spot of the shipwreck, thinking about his gir...

SCARS!!

Whenever you see someone with a scar what first come to your mind... Is it how ugly it makes them look or how scary they look that you want to run off out of fright Let me tell you about a sight I saw today I was seating in the library earlier today, when I noticed this young man, a young man about my age or a little older..., I noticed him cause of this scar on his head.., it looked like the head was cut open completely and joined together again, hair wouldn't even grow at the point of joining anymore...  I obviously couldn't help but stare, yes I was trying to steal some glances at him.. I couldn't help but admire, I wanted to ask questions, so many questions, but I might never get to ask them Just looking at him, I am in awe of how strong he is, I mean, how did he pull through this? There are so many images in my head I'm trying to fight right now, the hospital bed, the pines upon pines of blood, man! Even the recovery process how did he accept his new look whe...
